Attorneys

Carla Marino has been practicing law for over ten years.  She began her career while at Georgetown University Law Center earning a Fellowship with the Committee on State Taxation (COST) located in Washington, D.C.  While pursuing her Master of Laws in Taxation, she worked with COST to preserve and promote equitable and nondiscriminatory state taxation of multi-jurisdictional entities.  She attended oral arguments at the United States Supreme Court in order to provide COST members with the latest verdicts on tax issues.  She also worked to provide multi-state tax related educational information for the classes and various publications they offered.

Following her graduation from Georgetown and the completion of her Fellowship, she began working at Ernst & Young, LLP in the State and Local Tax Group.  There, Carla was a part of the tax planning practice for the various taxes involved on a personal and business level affecting company reorganizations and restructurings.  This was followed by her work at Pepper Hamilton, LP where she was able to further refine her skills in the tax arena.

As a family law attorney, Carla has been a compassionate advocate for her clients.  While striving towards an amicable resolution in very difficult situations, clients find her to be understanding and empathetic yet efficient and clear-cut in reaching her clients' goals through the various family law issues and processes.

Carla is an active member of her community and is working to continue the high level of legal services provided by Bennett & Associates.
